Court of Appeal upholds High Court decision (Advancecon Holdings Sdn Bhd)

We are pleased to inform that yesterday the Court of Appeal delivered their decision and unanimously upheld the learned High Court judge's decision in holding that the EGM convened by our client's board of directors was valid although the request was made by a member holding less than 10% of the company's issued share capital. The Court of Appeal agreed that no substantial injustice was caused to the appellant although the EGM resulted in him being removed as a director.
